Main focus
; Graduates of the this master’s degree will be able to: – Know the different pathological processes that lead to emergency situations. – Establish an empathetic and respectful relationship with the patient and their family in critical and emergency situations. – Manage traumatological emergencies. – Show skills related to the management of advanced respiratory, traumatological and pediatric life support. – Apply knowledge of the airway. – Know and use all types of ventilators. – Handle the equipment related to mayor ambulatory surgery in a correct and safe way for the patient, complying with the regulations and standards in force. – Interpret different ECG rhythms.; – Use diagnostic, therapeutic and traumatological techniques in their field of knowledge. – Attend a delivery in an emergency situation as well as urgent problems of bleeding in the puerperium. – Identify and handle situations of sexual assault. – Respond to situations of risky sexual intercourse. – Identify and assist women with breast engorgement and mastitis. – Conduct correct and safe intrahospital transfers of critical patients. – Assess and resuscitate newborns. – Attend to pregnant women in emergency situations. – Attend to newborns and premature babies in critical situations. – Coordinate disaster responses. – Apply isolation measures. 20. Apply knowledge and skills to attend to patients in real-life emergency situations. – Design, develop, write and present a scientific research paper.
Competences
