Main focus
; The main objective of the Master’s Degree in Business Law is to provide students with a solid grounding and training in the field of business with a view to academic, research, and professional specialisation. Ultimately, this will significantly improve their opportunities in the job market. The master’s programme has the following aims: – To teach the students about the legislative framework – and practical framework governing the process of setting up a company and the contractual relationships within the company and with third parties; – To train students to analyse, diagnose, and solve the problems arising from the creation and development of a company, and from its operations; – To enable students to understand all aspects of the company, economy, and market required for a full comprehension of the business world; – to enhance the students’ capacity for teamwork; – To teach them how to optimize the decision-making process in a company; – To smooth their path towards a professional career in the academic world.
Competences
Students that have completed the second cycle have the following competencies: – Have demonstrated knowledge and understanding that is founded upon a basis or opportunity for originality in developing and/or applying ideas, often within a research context. – Can apply their acquired knowledge and understanding, and problem solving abilities in new or unfamiliar environments within broader (or multidisciplinary) contexts related to their field of study. – Have the ability to integrate knowledge and handle complexity, and formulate judgments with incomplete or limited information, but that include reflecting on social and ethical responsibilities linked to the application of their knowledge and judgments. – Can communicate their conclusions, and the knowledge and rationale underpinning these, to specialist and non-specialist audiences clearly and unambiguously. – Have the learning skills to allow them to continue to study in a manner that may be largely self-directed or autonomous.
